Projects: Oceana is dedicated to the protection of our oceans and work around the globe to alleviate problems like overfishing, acidification and habitat destruction. They work on the water to document species and their habitats, monitor illegal and irresponsible fishing and propose new protected areas from the Arctic to the Atlantic, Mediterranean and the Patagonia.
Oceana advocates for clean energy to combat the effects of climate change and are also working to keep the oceans free of Mercury, oil and other pollutants that threaten marine habitats, wildlife and humans.
