What is the Sea Turtle Conservancy?
Sea Turtle Conservancy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization formerly Caribbean Conservation Corporation dedicated to protecting Sea Turtles and their habitat through research, education, spreading awareness, protecting sea turtle natural habitats, and conservation movement.
Sea turtles face serious, human-driven threats — including habitat destruction, bycatch in fishing gear, poaching, and coastal development — that have pushed all seven species toward extinction risk, ranging from vulnerable to critically endangered. Sea Turtle Conservancy works with international research and conservation partners to protect nesting beaches on land and turtle habitat at sea, combining decades of field research with hands-on conservation and public education.

Sea Turtles Under Sea Turtle Conservancy
The Caribbean Conservation Corporation is now the Sea Turtle Conservancy, which works to protect all seven species of the world’s marine turtles: green, loggerhead, hawksbill, Kemp’s ridley, olive ridley, flatback, and leatherback. Sea turtle habitats are in serious danger and they need help urgently to be saved.
Among the sea turtles under the supervision and protection of Sea turtle conservancy were the green sea turtles, hawksbill sea turtles, and leatherback sea turtles.
